Global Compact

| The UN Global Compact is the world's largest initiative for corporate responsibility and sustainable development. Since its inauguration in 2000 by the former UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan, over 8700 entities from 130 countries have joined the initiative. Global Compact is a call directed to businesses to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. The Polish Global Compact Local Network is coordinated by the United Nations Development Programme, Project Office in Warsaw. |
