Global Compact in Poland
The Global Compact is a network-based initiative. At its core are the Global Compact Office, and six UN agencies. At the same time, the Global Compact involves all relevant social actors: companies, whose actions it seeks to influence; governments, labour, civil society organizations, and the United Nations, the world's only truly global political forum, as an authoritative convener and facilitator. Since its official launch on 26 July 2000, the initiative has grown to more than 5200 participants, including over 4000 businesses in 120 countries around the world.
